Movie versus Story

Any movie based upon a piece of literature can make or break its supply of inspiration. Several movies carry out no mercy toward the book, while many exceed the quality of the novel. The movie, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, directed simply by Norman Mc Lean, was a much better piece of content than the short story, " The Secret Your life of Walter Mitty, " written by James Thuber, because the video had a satisfying summary, more actions, and an infinitely more developed and advanced story.
The conclusion with the story left you unhappy and discontent because it failed to really let you know what happens to the protagonist; it just ends, even though the movie ends with Walt, the leading part, finding appreciate. Walter also overcomes his low self-pride towards his boss and says, " The smartest thing you ever before did was hire myself! " He goes further more in saying all his boss really does is generate profits of his ideas. The confidence Walt shows by the end of the video gets him to a higher a posture at work. In addition , the movie also leaves you feeling pleased because the bad guys, the antagonists, are captured and put in prison. Hence the movie had a more rewarding conclusion than the short story's inconclusive stopping.
The movie had much more action, partly as it was even more developed, interesting and fascinating. The story involved more than just Walter visiting the store to get some things for his wife, as in the story. The movie included bad guys chasing Walter throughout the motion picture because he by accident took possession of a important notebook. Additionally , it also integrated Walter assigning death-defying feats such as receding of, and climbing through sky-high building windows, and tiptoeing along the edge of these buildings. Actions was as well added through the extra daydreams Walter knowledgeable during the motion picture, such as the shoot-out near the end of the film and the Mississippi gambler.
