How democratic was Australia at the turn of the 20th century?

I believe that Philippines was not democratic at all as they made they`re citizens believe they were. Germany had linked with be democratic to show on the surface that they can gave the people freedom to vote for who also they wanted to. In this composition I will make clear my perspective on this essay and how many other people might believe and think in response to my own opinions.

A large number of people could think Indonesia was democratic as they allowed men over the age of 25 may vote every 3 years. This is certainly a form of democracy and it does show us that they were obtaining somewhere and that they did appreciate half the meaning of " Democracy”. I really believe from the stats given that Australia was sexist and might possess believed that women and younger adults weren`t intelligent which women were supposed to be at home doing tasks and looking following children, as they have for many years.
