Assess nature as opposed to Nurture

 Evaluate nature vs Nurture Essay

D1: Evaluate just how nature and nurture may affect the physical, intellectual, mental and cultural development for 2 life stages of an person

Infants

Physical:

Nature –

•Infants grow swiftly in the initial 3 years of life; they are born with certain features such as green eyes, blonde hair. These types of characteristics will be genetic as they are passed on from other parents to them. Nurture-

•However an infant's growth is definitely predominantly determined by the nutrition that they receive. If an baby is brought up on the poverty line, or in a neglectful household they are not likely to receive the nutrients that they need to grow with their full potential. In conclusion I do think that even though nature takes on a large a part of their development, without the right nurture they would be unable to grow regardless of their very own genetic cosmetic.

Intellectual:

Nature –

•Babies are delivered with the power to think and speak. You will find the possibility intended for intelligence being inherited from other parents. •An infant learns mainly using their parents and carers, that they learn generally all the abilities that are necessary for later existence. Their college has a large impact with their intellectual advancement, as the better their school may be the more likely they can be to progress about with higher standards of education. In summary, I think that both nature and foster play an equal role in an infant's intellectual development as it can be both passed down and develop as a procedure for their education and childhood.

Emotional:

Nature –

•All babies have the ability to display social releasers to including smiling and crying. These are innate talents that allow them to show their emotions to their primary care-giver. Nurture –

•As a child grows they know more complex thoughts from their father and mother and caregiver. The feelings that they watch from others teach these people how they demonstrate certain emotions. Overall, I do think that the emotional development of a child is motivated equally by nature and nurture, as...
